About Me

A Passionate Engineer Who Builds Resilient Systems

I am a Management Information Systems student at Boğaziçi University, currently working as a DevOps Engineer Intern at NGSS. My day-to-day work centers around maintaining high operational reliability, building CI/CD pipelines in GitLab, and provisioning production-grade Linux servers on VMware.

Alongside my infrastructure responsibilities with Ansible, Docker, Zabbix, and Kafka, I independently cultivate advanced skills in Machine Learning & MLOps. I architect end-to-end solutions covering drift detection, model registries (MLflow), automated testing, and scalable microservices.

Work Experience

  1. Dec 2025 - Present

    DevOps Engineer Intern

    NGSS, Istanbul, Turkey (On-site)

    • Managed project repositories on GitLab and set up CI/CD pipelines; automated deployment workflows through these pipelines and contributed to provisioning the environments the projects run on.
    • Deployed Grafana, Prometheus, Loki, cAdvisor, and Node Exporter to servers using Ansible; implemented a Teams alerting integration via Power Automate webhooks.
    • Provisioned new servers on VMware (manual IP assignment); automated OS and network configuration (DNS, NTP, swap, proxy) on newly provisioned Ubuntu servers via SSH using Bash scripts.
    • Set up Kafka clusters using the KRaft architecture.
    • Deployed Vaultwarden (password management) with Docker, configured SSO and SMTP integrations, and hardened and deployed it to production behind NGINX and Cloudflare.
    • Built a process and HTTP API monitoring system with Zabbix for a server hosting 27 microservices; configured dashboards and SMTP for email alerting.
    • Contributed to the operational monitoring and management of a multi-domain data-loading (dataload) system built on OrientDB, Kafka, and Spring Boot.
    • Handled day-to-day operations, log analysis, and troubleshooting on Linux servers via the command line.
    • Produced network and VPN infrastructure documentation and planned server migrations.
    • Configured DNS and IP settings for new applications via FortiGate and Cloudflare.
